Your masjid's times. Apps rest while you pray.

Jamaah Lock keeps the five daily prayers on your own masjid's timetable and, if you want, lets the apps you choose rest during each prayer window. Everything runs on your iPhone. Worship features are free, with no ads.

Masjid timetable

Your masjid's times, not an algorithm's

Photograph the printed monthly timetable at your mosque. Jamaah Lock reads it on the phone and from then on follows the printed adhan, iqamah and Jumu'ah times.

  1. Scan

Take a photo of the timetable, or choose a photo or PDF. Text recognition runs on the device.

  2. Check

Every cell is shown. Doubtful values are underlined in amber; tap one to correct it.

  3. Pray with your jamaah

Windows can start at the iqamah. On the 25th the app reminds you to scan next month.

Share it by QR

The whole month fits inside one QR code. Print it for the notice board or send it to the family group. Anyone with the app imports it in seconds, free, and checks it before saving. There is no server: the timetable lives in the code.

No timetable yet? Times are calculated on the device with nine methods, Shafi or Hanafi Asr and high-latitude rules.

Concept of the verify screen: a month grid with adhan over iqamah for each prayer, three cells underlined for checking, and a Save timetable button. Concept preview

Unlock

Finish with dhikr

After salah, recite the dhikr and your apps come back. Choose one or more ways to finish, per prayer.

  • سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّٰهِSubhanAllah×33
  • ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِAlhamdulillah×33
  • ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُAllahu Akbar×34
  • Dhikr by voicebeta

Counted by speech recognition on your phone. Nothing is recorded or sent.

  • Tasbih by tap

    A large tap counter, 33 · 33 · 34. Taps and voice add up.

  • Wait timer

A quiet countdown when you cannot speak or tap.

  • "I have prayed"

One tap. Your word is enough.

  • My dhikr

Istighfar, salawat or your own phrase and count.

Concept of the unlock screen: Subhanallah 21 of 33, three rows of beads, "listening on your phone, nothing is recorded or sent", and a large tap circle. Concept preview

Modes

Reminders, Gentle or Firm

You choose for each prayer how much help you want. You can change it at any time.

  • Reminders

Notifications and the tracker. Your apps are never touched and no Screen Time permission is asked.

  • Gentle

The apps you chose rest during the prayer window. "Continue anyway" appears after a short wait.

  • Firm

They rest until you finish an unlock step of your choice. One pass a day always works.

Concept of the iOS shield during Maghrib: "Maghrib 18:52 at Al-Falah", a button "I've prayed, then dhikr" and a dimmed "Continue anyway" countdown. Concept preview

Concept of the mode step: three stacked cards Reminders, Gentle (selected) and Firm, and a button "Show today's times". Concept preview

Never stuck: apps always return at the end of the window, whatever happens. Windows last 15 to 60 minutes from the adhan or the iqamah, and Lock Health on Today shows that the schedules are armed.

Tracker

A tracker without streaks

Mark each prayer on time or later with one tap at the end of its row. There are no scores, flames or broken-streak screens.

  • Qada, with mercy

A missed prayer waits in a make-up list until you tap "Made up".

  • Undo for 24 hours

Every mark can be changed under Recent changes.

  • Excused days

Travel, illness or menstruation: those days are simply not counted.
